Following her marriage to Daniel Spoerri, Vera Mercer became a part of the Parisian artist Avant-Garde of the early 1960s. She portrayed Marcel Duchamp and Robert Filliou, Niki de Saint-Phalle, Jean Tinguely and regularly captured Spoerri too.

The Scope post producers collaborated with Achim Lippoth to produce two projects. The challenge for CASA DO MENOR, a street children project and McCann, Milan involved the recreation of Achim’s perfect light and integrating the rendered hands into the photo. The hands were created using CG and lit up.
