Florian Seidel began his career as a fashion and music photographer and has not just kept his love of photography to this very day, but also regularly pushes boundaries. Through music photography he went on to direct countless music videos, that quickly developed into long-term and interdisciplinary projects, such as documentaries and introduction films for TV shows. Florian has worked as a freelance director for over 15 years.
Today his network enables him to collaborate closely with agencies to realise complete concepts, such as internet portals for Levis (red-tab.com) and Sony Ericsson (mobile-sessions.com), which don’t just include the complete production, but also unite film, photo, online and music in one. This was the starting point for many an Internet series. Sppd.tv’s ‘die Sau ist tot’, toured the world and returned from New York armed with the Best International Movie Award as the best international short film, he also realised defmini.com (Gold/Silver/Bronze) for BMW-MINI. He realised stop motion films for the BMW-Museum with tiny Isetta matchbox cars, which lured over 1.5 million visitors onto the site and has already been awarded with Silver and Bronze.
Daniel Lwowski was also presented, who counts as one of the most renowned German music video directors and has already worked for the likes of German chart topping artists including Herbert Grönemeyer, No Angels, Juli, Söhne Mannheims, Sabrina Setlur, Wyclef Jean and Silbermond. In 2009, he was awarded the Echo for Best Music Video for his work with Rosenstolz. His car commercials for Porsche and Audi amongst others, have already won countless awards.
Hauke Hilberg has studied Direction/Commercial Film at the Ludwigsburg film academy since 2005. In addition to this, he realises short and animation films, using 3D and composing. He loves surreal humour in the style of Monthy Python, Loriot and Peter Sellers. His CUBE short saw him short listed for the Cannes Young Directors Award and his Psapp – "I want that" music video was presented at the Saatchi New Directors Showcase.
The film night, which is regularly hosted by BBDO, is a large get together, an opportunity to meet new contacts and catch up with older ones. Juniors also get the chance to meet renowned directors and film producers in a relaxed party atmosphere.
