The unique picture archive compiling 80 years of VOGUE Paris fashion and beauty photography is now also available through Getty Images. The “Vogue Paris Collection" will be available for licensing from 17 June 2008 onwards, through www.gettyimages.de. It includes fashion, lifestyle and portrait photography by French Vogue’s most renowned photographers, such as Hans Feurer, Jean-Daniel Lorieux, Thierry Le Goues and Henry Clarke. Their productions depict designs by infamous fashion houses including Dior, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent and Van Cleef and Arpels.

Employees from the Hulton Archive and Getty Images Contour Team spent two weeks in Paris and worked tightly together with Vogue Paris to digitalise and prepare all the images.

Adrian Murrell, Senior Vice President, Editorial, Getty Images explains: “Clients have shown an increasing interest in high quality Haute Couture images. We are very proud to present this amazing collection, by one of the world’s most important fashion magazines, in our archive. French Vogue represents exclusive fashion and has not only promoted the trends of the 20th Century to the masses, it has also presented each decade’s style in a perfect, unique and concise way.”

Xavier Romatet, CEO Condé Nast France, stated: “ We are very pleased to provide our breathtaking photography through so prestigious a platform as Getty Images. Thanks to this partnership, the Vogue Paris pictures are rubbing shoulders with the world’s best picture collections.”
